Whheeeehheeeeehheeeeeheeeee! I'm going to BKK again soon, in June! He was initially very against the idea of travelling after we came back from Taiwan because he said we have to save $$$ for our future home. Looks like BKK has become an at-least-once-a-year trip.

Oh speaking of which, we finally manage to get a pretty good looking queue number at Sunshine Gardens after donating 50 bucks of registration fee. *Hopeful* :)

And speaking of Taiwan, realise I didn't update about it after I was back. Am I that busy since school reopens? Hmmm. But of course, as expected, it was totally AWESOME! Definitely going back there again!

Alrights, instead of spending too much time getting excited about going overseas, I should think of how I should settle the final year report for Geography and other assignments which are all due in a week or so. :(

Oh well, I hope my stomach feels 3 times better before I go. Had to surrender and go see the doctor 2 days ago. But the relief doctor was of no help >:( Didn't bother to ask much and seemed like he can't wait to get me out of the room. Yesterday I totally ignored the amount and kind of food going into my mouth. I just ate whatever was in front of me. Filet-o-fish, french fries, fried food, raw veggie, ice cream. HAHAHA it felt great! And I still survived in the end, because diarrhea has become daily routine to me ever since I was back.

I'm back from India! And I survived (though with wounds on legs and unwell in the stomach and in the heart)! So he said I didn't really "survive" well, which prove him right for being unable to take good care of myself :/ Well, at least I came back in one piece, alive and kicking.

Anyways, this trip is definitely an unforgettable one, not as expected kind of unforgettable, but still it is. There were of course many fun moments with friends. Occasionally, people might regard me as the party pooper for being unwell and appeared so sick. Sorry for that, I didn't wish to!

It was FULL of ups and downs, so much that I couldn't take it sometimes and had no choice but to break down totally. First few days were fine. Only until PMS caused mood swings, too much thoughts running through my mind and things seemed to turn out bad between people on top of the unwell in my stomach, the only way to face problems was tears. I felt simply helpless at times and started to get homesick. Well, you can say how weak I was. I didn't expect myself to be so weak too and it made me really angry with myself! I didn't want to be the the center of attraction that caused trouble for Dr Chatt and held back everyone's time. Although no one will know about this, I still want to say:

I AM REALLY SORRY FOR THE TROUBLE CAUSED TO EVERYONE AND I TRULY APPRECIATE EVERY WORD OF CARE AND CONCERN FROM DCFC, REALLY.

And I'm so glad I'm back to my comfort zone, where I can rely on parents and boyfriend without fear. They are my pillar of support :) It is just so heart warming to know my dirty laundry are all washed and dried when I woke up in the afternoon. <3 I also feel super loved when I can just rant and grumble to him about my pain, unhappiness and everything will be nicely done for me after that, leaving me with no worries. <3

Friendship, something I treasure just as much as kinship and relationship. Through this trip, it's disappointing to realise how vulnerable and weak it can be. Maybe my thoughts went way too negative. Maybe it isn't as bad afterall to realise some things only now. Maybe maybe...

Gosh! I'm flying in about 7 hours time, leaving house in about 3 hours time! This is the first time I'm going overseas without parents nor boyfriend. So there's quite a bit of jitters and mixed feelings. But everything should be fine with my friends and tutor around. India..I'm coming!

And because I'm not going with him, it also made him a little worried, or maybe slightly more than a little. And also caused him to treat me so well yesterday. Went to eat Santouka Ramen @ The Central before going to catch You are the Apple of my Eye. Yup, him being him, actually decided to accompany me to watch a Chinese movie, is a form of treating me good too. partly because it's well raved by many I guess.

So, caught You are the Apple of my Eye, which has been raved by many people lately, was indeed quite a not bad movie. Especially when I was watching with someone who spent part of my wonderful secondary school days, the feeling was even more 溫心.

I usually won't just log in to complain anything because I just don't like ranting about anything on earth. I've been learning to appreciate everything I'm experiencing and everything I have. Naturally, I don't have to rant much.

BUT BUT BUT!

I've got something to rant about today! I've been controlling myself as much as I could. But I really can't take that anymore! I seriously can't stand irresponsible group members. I normally won't be that unhappy with a group mate (well, I met only a couple of irresponsible freaks so far) when doing projects. But what's so difficult with just getting your job done? Groupwork is supposed to allow students to share workload. Why do I feel that groupwork always end up with a few doing much more than the rest?

Sometimes, the job can be very easy, just look through everything to make sure everything is in place and it is the final piece that we are handing in. Well, she has a problem with that, we help to edit. But why just a simple task of downloading the final copy and send to print can end up in printing out some crap? Why just by letting her print a few pages, she can end up having all those papers fucking crumpled?

Seriously, is she dumb, brainless, can't be bother or what?

Okay, I'm done. I'm feeling much better. And I'm so so so glad we can always find nice people to turn to in school to help us. My ex-lecturer, he's the best! He just help us print out everything without asking much when we turned to him for help! Even when that assignment has totally got nothing to do with him!

That's why I say, I've never ever regret taking a different module, because I got to know such funny and wonderful lecturer!

So maybe next time when we are unhappy with some nasty people, think of those great ones that help us. It will make us feel much much better. :)

It's been months since my last update. Hmm....really nothing much to say.

Been a couple of weeks since school started and suddenly have the feeling..like woahhhh we are really YEAR 4 now! Like so old! And how time fliesssssss!

It's really a mixed feeling. A part of me is dying to leave NIE, so that there's no more assignments to complete and readings to read. And of course, finally going to be decently paid every 12th of the month. Yet, another part of me worries about the stress and responsibility of a full-time teacher, facing the scary office politics and no more spending time with my lovely friends in school chatting and gossiping. It's depressing to think about all these. :( What to do? No one loves thinking about such stuff. So..just enjoy as much while we can! Stop complaining about every single thing in school and try to appreciate everything good about studying. So...

I'm glad that I have friends to clarify with when I'm unsure about school work.

I'm glad that I have friends to go to once I reach school.

I'm glad that tutors are always helpful and friendly to us.

I'm glad to be with a bunch of crazy friends.

I'm glad that my other half enjoys spending time with my crazy bunch.

I'm glad that I still have time to do assignments!

So I should quickly complete my lesson plan so that I can hand in on Friday!

Back from Krabi + Bangkok trip! It's totally wonderful to be in Land of Smiles, especially when everything seems so cheap there!

Krabi was more relaxing and slow pace, plus a bit of thrilling boat rides here and there and the challenge of more than 1200 steps of stairs to climb at Tiger Cave Temple. Whereas Bangkok was totally a shopping arena, as usual, where we basically shopped till we dropped and of course savoring the good food.

While I'm doing this entry, I'm still waiting for my photographs to be uploaded into my computer. It's taking 20 minutes to upload all my photos for the past few days. What a sense of satisfaction to take so many photos! That's because I regretted not taking much photos the last time I went Bangkok.

So....let's wait for the photos to be uploaded in Facebook! :))) I miss Thailand!

I guess the coming week it's the worst week of holidays. Most of my dear friends are overseas, in Australia and Korea enjoying themselves. My lovely supper kakis are gone for about 2 weeks! To make it worse, he's having guard duty on 10th and night shift on 12th and 13th :( I shall just look forward to 29th May! The trip to Krabi and Bangkok with him, QY and WC! :)))

And 7th May will mark the first time in my life to vote in General Election. I'm definitely not going to make myself sound political at all. Choa Chu Kang constituency has nothing to hoo-ha about anyway. All I feel is that, I'm getting oldddddd. Yuck.

It's almost a week since freedom! But I'm still feeling rather lethargic, as if I never had enough rest.

I had a new haircut after contemplating for a long time. I like it the first day but stop liking ever since because I can't get the curls at the bottom like how the hairstylist blew for me. :(

So I have to go for rebonding again. I'm going to try the one at Marsiling later as there were a lot of raves about it. Wish me luck :)

It was his day! And it was also our 80th month! Did nothing much, just went on a shopping spree. His present? Basically the things he bought on the day - camera filters, belt, bag and our meal. And probably a handphone next month.

The birthday cake was huge and only the 2 of us ate it. Well, it was a long story.

Anyways, I still can't help but to argue with him even on his birthday. I'm sorry! I hope you really enjoyed your day although I wasn't being a fantastic gf. :)

It's my first time driving out after I passed my TP last Thursday.

I drove to school, accompanied by dad.

I drove from sister's place to Yew Tee.

I drove from Yew Tee to home.

I drove from home to Bukit Gombak for supper, and did parallel parking.

I drove from Bukit Gombak to Yew Tee.

Lastly, I drove from Yew Tee to home again.

Except for the first trip, all the others were night driving and only accompanied by him, and sometimes QZ.

One word to describe - SHIOK!

Though there were a few times I made some mistakes, I guess it's unavoidable for a P plater to make mistakes right? Moreover it's just my first day. -.- So stop all the nagging!

IT'S FINALLY OVER!

It's really the first time I felt so horrible over examinations. It's weird! Because I didn't even feel so stressed up during 'O' Levels. I think I was totally demoralised by the first exam paper, which I really flunk it, so much to an extent that I felt it would be the same for my second paper.

For 24 hours, loss of appetite + loss of sleep + vomit + cold sweat = NIGHTMARE!

Even I myself find it so unbelievable that I can be so stressed up to such an extent. I just realised how weak I was. *Sigh. I hope this first time will be my last time as well!

We have had quite some chat these few days. Well, maybe I talked more.

I just suddenly felt how vulnerable relationships can be. I used to have this thinking that the longer the relationship, the more stable it will be. So I always has this yay-ness when our anniversaries came. Till the later years, I heard about friends or friends' friends breaking up after years of relationships. At that point of time, I kept wondering how can such long period relationships break so easily. And I realised, longer doesn't equate to better. Some people get bored of their relationships and find new thrills out there, and so end up breaking up. Hence, in this case, longer seems = more vulnerable. It sounds really scary sometimes. Like you thought everything is wonderfully planned, but out of no where came a third person and the plans vanished. *Sigh. No wonder people say the best time to marry is after being together for 2 years! Gosh, We've long passed that stage.

I would say I was pretty shocked with his calm reply to my what-if questions yesterday. But come to think of it, it kind of makes sense too. I wouldn't know how to react if these questions were to direct to me 'cause it never really occurs in my mind, at least for the recent years.

And yes, I still do love him. Even if it is just a habit, I shall never kick the habit away. :)

It seems like I'm not exactly that busy since I still have the time to "celebrate" Deepavali with the rest at Sinee's place, dry-swimming the whole afternoon on Friday. Hmm.

Besides, as some might already know, I started practical driving lessons at BBDC. And I have to agree that it is really quite fun (so far)! I'm looking forward to every lesson! Unfortunately, due to this semester's busy schedule, I only can go once a week for the next four weeks.

Wait, 4 weeks?! My hectic semester is gonna end in a month's time!! Which also means, examinations are arriving real soon. Can't wait to end this tiring semester!!!

The food there is really not bad, portion is huge and the service is good. :)

Walked around aimlessly after lunch, because we have nothing in mind to buy after coming back from BKK.

Went to Marina Square because we are supposed to meet his family for dinner to celebrate his aunt's and uncle's wedding anniversary. Another boring aimless walk, until we saw Jap tidbits on sale at the atrium. Hello Panda is a must-buy for me! On top of that, we bought chips, yan yan sticks and seaweed. So we spent money, on food again.

Dinner was buffet at Aquamarine at Marina Mandarin Hotel. Food was so so and pretty limited. He said the buffet they had at a hotel at Clarke Quay last time was way better. :( I missed it!

I thought my day was fine, rotting the whole day then met up with QY for dinner and walked about in IMM.

When I reached home, I found out dad hasn't come back from work, and it was already 10pm! I was like WTF. He started work at 8 in the morning and has worked OT for way too many hours today. I was so worried that I was on the verge of tears, worrying that he couldn't take it or lose concentration while driving home. Some might think that I'm too paranoid but I don't think. He has been aching all over lately due to the stress of rushing out job assignments which includes carrying and handling of heavy wooden planks. So how can he take it to work overtime till 11pm, missed his dinnertime and still need to wake up early as usual the next day? He's not young anymore, I don't know how long can he last working like that. Argh. It really pains me. How I wish I'm already capable of giving them hundreds every month so that they do not need to work anymore.

Next, I sent out a parcel to my customer, oh wait, is she even considered my customer? Anyway, she's someone who has been joining my sprees for quite some time. I sent out the clothes to her last month through registered mail and I didn't check my that particular mailbox ever since till few days ago. So I apologised and quickly tracked the article online and called up post office. Basically did whatever I could help. But she still seems to doubt me and demand for my name, contact no. and even the person I liased on the phone with, mentioning that it was very bad experience. If I wanted to cheat her money, I wouldn't even bother to reply her after so long. *Sigh. Seems like I can't take criticism. NO! I should get used to this! If I can't even take this, how am I able to survive my future teaching life which many say that it's very stressful?

Isetan, went there for Warcoal bras. Bought one for myself and Triumph for mum.

12.08.10 was Queen's birthday so we saw this at many places. It's their holiday too.

I'M BACK! With loads of clothes and some random stuff, and with not many photographs. Yup, I was too lazy to even take out my camera to snap any photos. I was too busy shopping, all the walks under the scotching sun made us so tired. But it's okay, we went for massage thrice.

The first foot massage was on Day 1 night at Suan Lum, a night market that tries their best to earn tourists' money. So our first foot massage there was most expensive, 150baht for 30 minutes. On Day 3 night, we decided to drop by 99 Massage, situated right opposite our hotel for traditional thai massage. Boy, it was so relaxing (A lil painful too)! And it was only 169 baht for an hour. Freaking cheap and worth it. And the people are so nice and polite. So we decided to visit them again on Day 4, ZY and I did foot massage, Regina did head and shoulders massage. Even so, they will still massage our head and shoulders after that. Great service!

As for great buys, Regina and I were pretty disappointed the first day at Platinum Mall. We pinned way too much hopes on the place to find dirt cheap beautiful clothes. It appeared too us that the clothes were not exactly dirt cheap, like 200 - 300 baht per piece, which I probably can order online at TW websites for about the same price. We thought we could find like 100 baht stuff there. So we didn't spend much there. I only bought 2 dresses at 200B each, still pretty cheap as compared to Singapore. The so-called Pratunum Market also appeared nothing much to us at the point of time. But we were so wrong! The second day morning when we were searching for Baiyoke Sky Hotel, we found lots of cheap buys along the streets. The market opened in the morning and that's where you can find 100-200 baht items! You can even find clothes less than 100 baht! Ahh..we almost went crazy. However, I think I'm not too much of a shopping queen as compared to Regina. She bought hell lots of stuff. Hahaha. We also found good buys along the streets in evening time. Other places include Union Mall. Chatukchak is a really warm and huge place. Have things to buy, but found many other random stuff too. Maybe we were impatient to comb the whole place, not many good buys for me.

FOOD next! I will definitely recommend Som Boon Seafood Restaurant to everyone going there. It's so cheap and the food there are so fabulous! We didn't hit many other restaurants. We just wanted to try all kinds of street food, they said is lok lok. May not be hygienic, but sure they are tasty. Oh yes, can't forget how wonderful is Nam Xing's bird nest and shark fins! SO worth it! Whereas, Baiyoke Sky buffet breakfast as recommended by others, was expensive with so-so food only. Our must-eat stuff in Bangkok were fulfilled - Tom Yum Goong, Padthai, glass noodles. Except for Som Boon's Fried Curry Crab! We were too full to eat that, what a waste!

Lastly, most of the people there are really really nice, no wonder it's called land of smiles :)))

I will definitely go back again! Probably 1 and half to 2 years later when I need working clothes to start teaching.

National Day is over! Hope everyone has enjoyed theirs. Mine was nothing much, just spent the day slacking. Woke up at 7 in the morning to take medicine and went back to sleep at 8am, all the way till about 1pm. Met up with him and QZ for lunch at Yew Tee then slacked at QZ's house watching Bangkok Dangerous (lucky it's not Bangkok Haunted).

I was so over Bangkok, doing all the research on places and things to note. Lixin even asked me to email Thailand tourism authority last week to ask them mail me the maps and all the related stuff for tourists. Indeed they did efficiently, I received them yesterday. Have to quickly pack my luggage tomorrow. I dreamt about Bangkok again yesterday. I think I'm going crazy. Hahahaha. It's just a few days away but I just can't control my excitement. I just hope nothing goes wrong. It has been ages since I last took a plane. I only boarded a plane once so far, how pathetic! Well I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth so I don't blame my parents. I hope a family trip to Korea will be a dream come true next year. How saddening can it be, that my whole family hasn't been on a trip together before, well, other than Malaysia.

I just suddenly have so much to say! I'm sick again. I lost count on how many times I went to the doctor this year. I don't use to be so weak last time! Gosh I'm old. Anyway, as usual, I had sore throat, cough and runny nose. After seeing the doctor on Sunday, I'm now only left with the irritating and disturbing cough. Please please please let me get well before the Bangkok trip so that I can eat whatever I want there.

Finally it's the last day. Totally enjoyed these five weeks with the two classes, my helpful CTs and my five "colleagues". Coincidentally, our last day is national day celebrations. So we enjoyed half day!

It was Deborah and Michael, the 2 Year 1's last day. How I wished I was one of them. Actually there were a total of 8 of us. But the rest had lessons at that timing, Hence only the 4 of us. When I asked why were they standing. Deborah said because the 2 of them were leaving already. Siannns. Not that I dislike being there. In fact the school is not bad. Just that I dread going to school when I'm supposed to be on vacation.

Anyways, many thanks to everyone who sent me SMSes and posted on my FB wall. Really appreciate the wishes very much! I've enjoyed my birthday. Just that, I had a bad cough, spent half of the day in CCKPS attending their boring staff meeting, had terrible cramps and slept through the whole afternoon. But the before and after moments were great. The day before, we went to Skypark and went prawning with Jes after that, till dawn. On 25th itself, after a nap, I had dinner at G7 with him, Jes and Regina. More photos of those will be up tomorrow.

Yes, my hope for double eyelids! But, sometimes, after applying the glue, the glue is visible. And it looks quite unnatural. So I think I only dare to put it on when I'm home the whole day. Hopefully thinking that, one day the double eyelids will be permanent, like what Lixin said.

Finally! It is coming to an end. The EL camp. No more re-recording of audio, no more photoshopping of photos and no more editing the video!

Have been so busy with all these since last week. So drained and tired. Totally lack of sleep. And tomorrow is finally the last day! Hmmm...putting the chores aside, I actually enjoyed sometimes. Our tutor, Dr Arlene Bastion is really really a nice lady. She helped us a lot in improving our work and gave constructive feedbacks. Not forgetting her great sense of humor. :) On top of that, I think we all got along as classmates, giving a lot of encouragement and suggestions to one another. Personally, I really learnt a lot of from course and never did I believe I can come up with my very own story just within this short period of 2 weeks.

Hooray! I'm officially in my holidays! I should really have a good plan on how I should spend the next few days before the English CELS Camp starts next Monday, which will last for 2 weeks. And plan about what to do after the camp before my field practicum starts in July. I have quite a few things to complete. Hmmm.

Having the urge to splurge on online shopping gave me a small hole in the pocket. I should really resist ordering clothes online The reason why I say it's a small hole is not because I'm spending just a bit of money, but just considered small as compared to the money spent on someone's present recently. Oops. Well, it's just once ~~a year~~ in many years. Hello everybody! I'm back from Genting! It was definitely one of the most enjoyable trips. It was so fun that I wished I could stay there and not come back to face the terrifying assignment deadlines!

We set off at 6 plus in the morning on 2nd Mar.

Yay...we reached!

Our first meal at Genting, while waiting to check in to the hotel, was at Flavours.

Him an his Marmite chicken and rice.

I ate sizzling plate eggplant and rice.

Dinner at Kenny Rogers.

Went to meet up Louis and Huilin after dinner and off to Casino we went! Our very first time to the Casino was great! Played Da Xiao and Three Pictures on the first night. Played Da Xiao and Roulette on the second night. Won 50RM on the first night, lost 150RM on the second night, total lost of 100RM.

Came out from Casino for a while to play billard and pool till shop closed. Then went back Casino again.

2nd day spent at the Theme Park.

Our very first time taking all kinds of rides together. Rides that he freaked out and rides that I freaked out when we took. The most unforgettable was the Corkscrew ride that I thought I would never take in my life or never survive taking. He managed to persuade me into the ride. It was fantastic afterall.
